Grammar

(1)Present Tense – वर्तमान काल 

   ( a )    Present Indefinite Tense -  वर्तमान अनिश्चित काल

   ( b )   Present Continuous tense - वर्तमान निरंतर काल

   ( c )   Present Perfect Tense - पूर्ण वर्त्तमान काल 

   ( d )  Present Perfect Continuous Tense - पूर्ण अपूर्ण वर्त्तमान काल 

     ( a ) Present Indefinite Tense 

  Ø  Follow the Rules:- 

Main Formula

Person - व्यक्ति	Singular Form		Plural Form
First Person - पहला व्यक्ति	I – am/go/do		We – are/go/do
Second Person - दूसरा व्यक्ति	You – are/do/go		You – are/do/go
Third Person - तृतीया पुरुष	He She It Name Or Ram	is  /s / es / goes / does is  /s / es / goes / does is  /s / es / goes / does is  / s / es / goes / does is  / s / es / goes / does	They – are/do/go

(i)     Affirmative Sentences

Formula: - Subject + Verb + s/es + Object

Examples: -

 I am a boy.  मैं एक लड़का हूँ।          

We are students.  हम विद्यार्थी हैं।

You go to Patna.  आप पटना जाइए।

You are teachers.  आप शिक्षक हैं।

He is a good boy.  वह अच्छा लड़का है।

She cooks food.  वह खाना बनाती है।

It goes to Mumbai.  यह मुंबई जाता है।

Ram eats food.  राम खाना खाते हैं।

(ii)   Negative Sentences

Formula: - Subject + Verb +do/does not+ s/es + Object

Example: -

I am not a boy.  मैं एक लड़का नहीं हूँ।

We aren’t/are not students.  हम छात्र नहीं हैं / नहीं हैं

You don’t/do not go to Patna.  आप पटना नहीं जाते हैं।

You aren’t/are not teachers.  आप शिक्षक नहीं हैं / नहीं हैं

He isn’t/is not a good boy.  वह अच्छा लड़का नहीं है / है

She doesn’t/does not cook food.  वह खाना नहीं बनाती / नहीं बनाती है।

It doesn’t/does not go to Mumbai.  यह मुंबई नहीं जाता है।

Ram doesn’t/does not eat food.  राम खाना नहीं खाते / खाते नहीं हैं।

(iii)  Interrogative Sentences

Formula: - Do/Does + Subject + Verb + s/es + Object

Example: -

Am I a boy?  क्या मैं एक लड़का हूँ?

Are we students?  क्या हम छात्र हैं?

Do you go to Patna?  क्या आप पटना जाते हैं?

Are you teachers?  क्या आप शिक्षक हैं?

Is he a good boy?  क्या वह एक अच्छा लड़का है?

Does she cook food?  क्या वह खाना बनाती है?

Does it go to Mumbai?  क्या यह मुंबई जाता है?

Does Ram eat food?  क्या राम खाना खाते हैं?

(iv) Interrogative Negative Sentences

Formula: - Do/Does + Subject +not+ Verb + s/es + Object+?

Example: -

Am I not a boy?  क्या मैं लड़का नहीं हूँ?

Are we not students?  क्या हम छात्र नहीं हैं?

Don’t you go to Patna?  क्या आप पटना नहीं गए?

Aren’t you teachers?  क्या आप शिक्षक नहीं हैं?

Is he not a good boy?  क्या वह एक अच्छा लड़का नहीं है?

Does she not cook food?  क्या वह खाना नहीं बनाती है?

Doesn’t it go to Mumbai?  क्या यह मुंबई नहीं जाता है?

Does Ram not eat food?  क्या राम ने खाना नहीं खाया?
